Well its raining (really heavily) today or maybe it was a delay from the plane but its not been a good one. I've been in bed most of the day. I walked to the bus stop but that was it.
Hopefully with all the rest I had today tomorrow will be better.

I just wanted you to know that you have lots of fans that are out there (many you do not know) As a family that is looking at going down the same road, my wife and I read your blog each day. You and your family are certainly in our prayers. I hope that the rain goes away and that your life has many sunny days ahead. Hang in there.

I am sure that you recognize this, but as a gentle reminder, you just has some pretty major surgery....
Some days will be really good days, and some days won't be.
Give your body time to heal, listen to it when it says it hurts, and before you know it, you will be amazed at how great you feel!

Cheryl...glad you made it home. Sounds like you are having normal post-surgery ups and downs. Keep your chin up...I know it isn't easy. You have so much support - use it all! Can't wait to catch up...
